- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆July 24, 2020, by M EUnlike Safeway rite aid has a policy of 18 and over only to buy a lighter, which i totally agree is a great idea but im 24 and its really irritating being denied purchase of a lighter when i had lost my ID. I look older than my age by about 3 years or so (been smoking cigarettes since 14 is probably why haha) and it just bothers me that the lady seemed to enjoy denying me my purchase while i was very clearly jonsing for a cigarette. Not cool.
